Santa Barbara County District Attorney Joyce E. Dudley announced today that In the Matter of Maribel S. The Honorable Arthur Garcia found the charge of second degree murder to be true. The court also found true that the minor used a deadly weapon during the commission of the crime.

Santa Barbara County Registrar of Voters Joe Holland wants to remind eligible citizens the deadline to register to vote is Monday, October 24 to be eligible to vote in the November 8, 2016 Presidential General Election.

Santa Barbara County District Attorney Joyce E. Dudley announced that Spring Morrissey, age 32, was charged with Vehicular Manslaughter While Intoxicated with Gross Negligence in violation of Penal Code section 191.5(a). It is alleged that Ms. Morrissey caused the death of Victoria Levinson, age 62, while driving intoxicated on the wrong side of Ocean Avenue west of Lompoc.
